Position Summary


The Clinical Nutrition Consultant (REMOTE) plays a crucial role in executing personalized dietary care plans tailored to each patient’s needs. This position is integral to the development and provision of educational resources regarding nutrition for patients.

The Clinical Nutrition Consultant will provide guidance to patients, families, and caregivers regarding prescribed dietary regimens, while also monitoring compliance and evaluating therapeutic responses.

This role is primarily remote, with occasional travel required. Candidates should have reliable transportation for necessary visits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Nutrition Support Team to manage the clinical care of current and prospective nutrition patients.
  • Partner with the Sales team to promote the nutrition program and enhance key business lines for profitability.
  • Work closely with pharmacy, clinical, and sales teams to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in strategizing and executing plans to expand nutrition services, leveraging relevant account insights.
  • Develop and oversee enteral and parenteral nutrition therapies to address patients' nutritional deficiencies.
  • Analyze patient medical histories and relevant lab results to optimize home nutrition support protocols.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on enteral and parenteral nutrition, ensuring understanding and adherence to dietary guidelines.
  • Collaborate with management to uphold the Performance Improvement Program and maintain accreditation standards.
  • Conduct educational sessions for referral sources and healthcare professionals on clinical topics related to nutrition.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or a related field.
  • Registered Dietitian with a valid license in the applicable state; Certification as a Nutrition Support Clinician is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • High self-motivation, adaptability, and the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
  • Must meet company standards for driving record and age requirements.
Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position does not entail supervisory duties.

Salary Range

USD $33.00 - $40.00 per hour.
