We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Northern Arizona Healthcare Corporation. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomographic scans and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain patient history and educate patients/families regarding procedures and/or treatment to be performed as well as risk factors and prevention.
- Position patients appropriately for the applicable radiographic procedure.
- Perform radiographic procedures and analysis according to departmental guidelines.
- Develop and evaluate radiographic results for technical quality, such as density, contrast, definition, and distortion.
- Apply learned methodologies with independent judgment according to established policies and procedures.
- Maintain infection prevention standards and prepare, clean, adjust, inspect, and maintain equipment.
- Produce quality images and prepare/present them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, archiving imaging data as needed or required.
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals.
- Associates of Applied Science or other related fields.
- MRTBE CT certification.
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
- Fingerprint Clearance Card application number and license within 90 days of hire.
- Minimum 1 year experience as an imaging technologist.
- 3 years experience as an imaging technologist.
