Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Northern Arizona Healthcare Corporation. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain patient history and educate patients/families regarding procedures and/or treatment.
  • Position patients appropriately for radiographic procedures and perform radiographic procedures according to departmental guidelines.
  • Develop and evaluate radiographic results for technical quality and apply learned methodologies with independent judgment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Operate head or body scanners to create computer-generated cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
  • Perform quality control measurements and troubleshoot equipment issues to maintain optimal performance.
  • Document incidental findings that may impact patient safety or care and provide information to interpreting physicians.
  • Ensure examination results meet facility standards for Quality Assurance before releasing findings for interpretation.
Requirements
  • Associates of Applied Science or related field required.
  • AZDHS Certified Radiologic Technologist and CT required.
  • ARRT (CT) certification required.
  • BLS (American Heart Assoc.) certification required.
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card application number required upon hire.
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card required within 90 days of hire.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as imaging technologist required.
