Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Crude Oil Terminal Operator to oversee and maintain crude oil terminals, ensuring equipment is functioning properly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot control panel issues, communicate with technicians, assist with equipment installation, and maintain a consistent maintenance schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure safe operations.
- Perform routine cleaning, housekeeping, and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
- Keep the Operations Manager informed of all progress and any deficiencies.
- Complete scheduled maintenance tasks at terminals.
- Participate in all required training for regulatory compliance and company standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for results.
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strict adherence to safety standards and the ability to convey these requirements to others on-site.
- Mechanically inclined with a solid understanding of equipment operations.
- Experience with tank gauging, measurements, and sampling according to API standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- 5+ years of experience in terminal operations.
No relocation provided. Local to Casper, WY is preferred.
