Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Community Housing Agent to join our team at EDEN Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing our subsidized housing programs and recruiting new landlords to participate in our long-term and short-term subsidy programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Outreach and Marketing: Perform landlord outreach efforts, including meetings, on-site visits, and presentations to promote the benefits of participating in our voucher programs.
  • Program Improvements: Ensure compliance with Expanding Housing Opportunities and identify opportunities to expand the number of units available to voucher participants using market data and other sources.
  • Customer Contact and Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for property managers' concerns and complaints, conduct informal HQS/NSPIRE inspections, and administer flexible funding to assist families with rental application fees and security deposits.
  • Data Maintenance: Notify Finance of owner/management changes, develop recommendations to modify and update EDEN policies and procedures, and maintain a database of vacancies, landlords, and landlord rental criteria.
  • Employee Accountability: Present a professional image, maintain confidentiality, and fulfill all duties with a high level of integrity and honesty.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field with related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license with good driving record and proof of insurance, no more than 3 points.
