**Job Summary**

Clean Harbors is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our growing sales team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within an assigned territory, servicing our Safety Kleen division.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Actively pursue and manage new business opportunities within assigned territory.
  • Interface with customers in a professional and effective way to resolve problems/issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Use various prospecting methods to find new customers and create additional opportunities within the existing customer base.
  • Work closely with operational branch teams to ensure that customer expectations are being met in regard to all service needs.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years combination of sales and account management experience preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills; ability to drive decision-making.
  • Strong collaboration skills; ability to facilitate service team approach to ensure customer satisfaction and follow-through.
  • Time and territory management skills to ensure focus on value-added sales activities.
  • Computer skills (Salesforce, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
