Job Title: Application Analyst

At Segway, we are seeking an experienced Application Analyst to join our team. As an Application Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Error Identification and Resolution: Identify, communicate, and help correct errors made by system users.
  • Access Management: Verify that all accesses are up-to-date and in real-time.
  • Change Management: Provide a central point of contact for all change requests and system alterations to business applications.
  • Documentation and Training: Create and update training manuals, policies, and procedures.
  • User Provisioning and Support: Provision new users, provide system training, and customization.
  • Project Implementation: Work with management to ensure key functionalities are understood.
  • System Support: Provide support for all system users, escalating to senior IT staff if needed.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Build custom reports and dashboards specific to job functions.
  • Security and Access Control: Maintain control of access rights, security settings, and user privileges.
  • Process Mapping: Generate detailed process maps for sales, marketing, and business workflows.
  • Project Management: Work with senior IT staff to manage project implementation and back-end integrations.
  • Communication: Serve as a communications liaison within IT and between IT and the business for releases, outages, and critical business-impacting situations.
Requirements:
  • Education: University degree or college diploma in information technology.
  • Experience: 3–8 years of experience in the automotive, power sports, or consumer electronics industry as an application analyst.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience implementing at least one full-cycle DMS (Dealer Management System) in automotive, power sports, or a motorcycle company.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of sales, logistics, accounting, service business knowledge, and solution design experience.
  • Personal Qualities: Solutions-oriented, exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to learn and utilize new applications and software systems effectively and efficiently.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, priority-shifting environment.
