Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at Timberline Construction. As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in preparing cost estimates for bids and negotiated proposals, managing all aspects of an estimate, and working with clients and construction teams during the preconstruction phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate conceptual cost models, understand construction methods, productivity, equipment, systems, and materials.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Manage and lead all aspects of an estimate, including investigating value engineering and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Work with clients and construction teams to deliver superior client service and profitably.
  • Coach and mentor junior estimators and interns to ensure their growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
