{"Job Title": "Front Desk Manager", "Job Summary": "We are seeking a highly skilled Front Desk Manager to lead our guest services team at Hotel Emblem San Francisco. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guests receive a courteous and efficient check-in and checkout experience.

Responsibilities:

* Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and coach and counsel Front Desk team members.
* Maintain effective training programs to ensure personnel are highly productive.
* Ensure that all operations of Front Office equipment are understood, including software and computer systems.
* Ensure effective two-way communication is maintained with all Front Office team members, as well as with all other departments in the hotel.

Requirements:

* Minimum three years experience in hotel front office and/or housekeeping supervision, or any similar combination of education and experience.
* Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors.
* Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.
* Basic computer skills, including spreadsheets, word processing, and email.
* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
