Job Summary

This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all inventory control processes, including cycle counting, physical inventory, transfers, investigations, and inventory adjustment requests. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying root causes of quality defects, analyzing site operating methods and procedures, and implementing improvements in bin and location accuracy, order cancels, and other quality indicators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all inventory control processes, including cycle counting, physical inventory, client transfers, investigations, and inventory adjustment requests.
  • Organize stocks and maintain inventory, ensuring accuracy and timely replenishment.
  • Inspect products for defects and damage, and perform cycle counts of inventory locations weekly.
  • Create and run various reports, including stock status, backorder and replenishment reports, and end-of-day reports.
  • Ensure all inventory is routed and put away daily, and contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.
  • Manage storage locations to ensure space is always available to receive inventory from Production, and publish weekly inventory metrics.
Requirements

This position requires a strong understanding of inventory control processes, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to analyze and implement improvements. The successful candidate will be a team player who can work collaboratively with multiple departments to drive quality goals and meet inventory control metrics.
