Maintenance Document Developer

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Document Developer to join our team. This role is critical for creating maintenance work documents, administrative controls, specific work instructions, and post-maintenance test requirements. Your contributions will help ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facility, facilitate troubleshooting activities, and support corrective maintenance in accordance with AD-MN-ALL-0005, UFSAR, technical specifications, vendor recommendations, and environmental compliance guidelines. You will also prepare and update work packages to address condition reports, routine tasks, deficiencies, and enhancements, ensuring timely completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Validate and assess discrepancies identified in work requests and convert them into actionable Work Orders (WOs).
  • Conduct job walkdowns to gather necessary support information and develop work order tasks for support groups.
  • Create Post Maintenance Testing (PMT) protocols and detailed work instructions.
  • Estimate man-hours for corrective and preventive maintenance work packages to align with the maintenance department's scheduling requirements for both "Online" and "Outage" periods.
  • Define necessary procedures, drawings, equipment, and materials for executing work packages.
  • Facilitate package preparation by identifying isolation requirements, scaffolding, and temporary power needs.
  • Ensure work instructions meet all applicable station procedures and standards.
  • Review and plan work order instructions for Engineering Changes (ECs).
  • Identify and request updates to the Equipment Database, Bill of Materials, Drawings, and Plant Procedures.
  • Manage the processing of Preventive Maintenance Revision (PMR) requests for changes to existing PMs and the creation of new PMs.

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Mechanical Specialties (e.g., Valves, HVAC, Pumps).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • At least 5 years of nuclear maintenance experience or 10 years of experience in a nuclear plant environment.
  • Self-motivated with strong ownership of tasks and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic knowledge of Work Management processes.
