Key Responsibilities

The Retail General Manager at Vuori is responsible for leading the retail sales team, fostering connections with customers, and communicating the brand's values through product knowledge and a positive attitude. The role involves ensuring the sales floor and team prioritize customer experience, preparing fitting rooms, and providing honest feedback to customers.

Customer Experience

  • Collaborate with the sales team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Take ownership of the sales floor and team to ensure customer experience is the top priority.
  • Prepare fitting rooms, find sizes, and provide knowledgeable feedback to customers.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers by following up on purchases and inviting them to events.
  • Stay up-to-date on new products and sales trends to share with customers and the team.

Business Leadership

  • Motivate the sales team to achieve sales goals in a team-based commission environment.
  • Stay informed about new product knowledge in the fashion and active-wear landscape to serve as an expert for customers.
  • Lead the team in completing projects while maintaining a focus on customer experience.
  • Communicate inventory needs to support business goals.

Leadership and Ownership

  • Process shipments, manage inventory, and maintain store appearance.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager on daily maintenance, sales strategy, community, and team management.
  • Lead the team in daily store maintenance, including restocking, visual merchandising, and cleaning.
  • Ensure the utmost responsibility, attention to protocol, and safety standards in opening and closing the store.
  • Encourage employees to give 100%, adhere to punctuality, and role responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Available to work morning and/or evening shifts, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, with at least one weekend day.
  • Must be a leader in punctuality and attendance, adhering to scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to develop relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • A customer service expert, creating experiences and developing relationships with customers.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
  • Eager to develop new skills and responsive to feedback.

Base pay ranges from $28 - $33 per hour. Actual base pay offered may vary based on location, skills, experience, and qualifications. This position is eligible for additional compensation in the form of a commission estimated to range from $53,000 to $67,000, depending on factors including store performance.
