We are currently seeking a BSA/AML Investigator to contribute to our compliance efforts. This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations of customer activities, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and quality assurance standards.
  • Draft clear and concise conclusions for investigative findings and prepare accurate suspicious activity reports in line with established procedures.
  • Document factual findings meticulously and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the precise completion of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
  • Collaborate with branch and department managers as needed during investigations.
  • Engage with the Regional BSA Officer when necessary throughout the investigation process.
  • Maintain comprehensive records and files to facilitate efficient reporting of investigations.
  • Recommend account relationship closures to management based on investigation outcomes.
  • Identify and escalate potential risks to team leadership.
  • Utilize various banking systems to research customer transaction activities.
  • Stay informed on BSA/AML investigative operations and the requirements of the BSA and USA PATRIOT Act.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Bank Secrecy Act and/or AML compliance.
  • Professional certifications such as ACAMS, ACFE, or ACFCS are advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of BSA/AML compliance related to suspicious activities involving money laundering and fraud.
  • Familiarity with complex financial transactions and business relationships.
  • Knowledge of AML/BSA regulatory compliance processes and changes.
  • Comprehension of bank operations and the flow of funds through financial institutions.
  • Awareness of high-risk business entities and the associated risks.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
Compensation and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $48,000 to $69,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
