Position overview:

Responsible for the management and coordination of all internal activities required for the development and approval of all matters pertaining to contracts and pricing for customers in global territories as assigned. Responsible for formulating corporate account business plans as they pertain to contract and pricing issues and the implementation and monitoring of contract compliance programs. Resolves and manages customer pricing issues through the analysis of applicable customer historical data. Has some approval authority over pricing and rebate proposals. Strong inter-personal skills are required to create cross functional relationships with Sales, Finance, and Legal.


Key Responsibilities:

· Manage customer contracts for global customer base including: managing monthly expirations, reviewing expirations for price optimization, creating new contract documents as required and communicating changes with customers, sales reps, distributors, and internal stakeholders.

· Responsible for leading cross functional teams in the completion of all bids and requests for proposals (RFPs). This includes creation of proposal documents, cross references, customer analysis and development of pricing strategy for each response.

· Creation of new national, regional, local and distributor contracts into the system.

· Provide guidance to the Sales organization on pricing and designs pricing and rebate offers for customers based on the individual products and specific customer needs.

· Prepare customer agreements including redlining customer provided documents to comply with company approved practices and creating new legal documents.

· Responsible for implementation and assessment of contract compliance metrics with all customers within assigned territory.

· Responsible for leading team of Contract/Pricing Analyst(s), coordinating training of junior Analysts and Contract Administrators.

· Assist Pricing Director with special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in related field, minimum 3-5 years experience contract or bid management required


· Experience with RFP’s, National Accounts, Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) and Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) strongly preferred


· Must be willing to submit to background check and drug screen as part of the hiring process


Additional Skills:

· Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel; PowerBI analytic program experience preferred but not required


· Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.


· Establish and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients, vendors, and other internal groups


· Ability to provide leadership, guidance, and expertise in all contract/pricing related matters as well as provide mentorship to Junior Contract/Pricing Analysts


· Ability to guide team members, motivate, support, and assist with analytical and all other necessary tasks in order to ensure work is completed efficiently and error free


· Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills


· Motivated self-starter and leader than can push projects forward with or without assistance


· Ability to provide an example to others, be dedicated to the success of the team by contributing your own unique work process to the whole
