By leveraging a robust network of channel sales partners alongside a dedicated direct sales team, we forge strong alliances with leading technology partners to deliver exceptional cloud-based technology solutions. This role is pivotal in driving the growth and diversification of Momentum Telecom's business services and product lines. The individual will primarily focus on marketing and selling Momentum's Hosted Voice and networking solutions to mid-sized and large enterprises through our established sales framework.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver engaging sales presentations that showcase a deep understanding of Momentum's voice solutions and services. Advocate for bundled offerings to provide optimal customer solutions while striving to surpass departmental financial and unit objectives. Stay informed about the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to effectively position Momentum's services in the market.
- Develop and manage sales territories and account strategies while maintaining relationships with Telecom Consultants, Master Agents, VARs, IT Vendors, and System Integrators, as well as local business partnerships. Proactively generate new leads through various prospecting methods, including cold outreach, networking, referrals, and partner collaborations. Seek innovative ways to enhance the visibility of the Momentum brand within the assigned territory.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention by fostering strong relationships and collaborating with internal teams to meet and exceed operational efficiencies and service standards.
- Maintain precise and high-quality sales records, preparing necessary sales and activity reports.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Salesforce within three months of joining the team.
- Exhibit expertise in promoting and utilizing Momentum Telecom's products and services within three months of hire.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts related to quotas regularly.
- Consistently maintain and nurture partner relationships.
- Collaborate effectively as a team player, adapting swiftly to changes in a dynamic environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of five years of proven success in business-to-business outside sales.
- Demonstrated experience in selling voice services, with a preference for Microsoft products.
- Successful track record of acquiring new business and establishing new client relationships.
- Preferred experience in:
- Microsoft Collaboration Solutions
- Voice Network Technologies (including VoIP)
- Data Networking Technologies and Services (SDWAN, LAN, WAN)
- Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery concepts
- Self-motivated with strong time management and sales skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with strong presentation skills.
- Proficient in negotiation and persuasion.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving goals.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent follow-up skills.
- Technical proficiency and a solid understanding of computers and the Internet.
- Prior experience with Salesforce is highly preferred.
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
This role involves significant travel, with over 60% of time spent meeting with clients. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary. Flexibility to work overtime as needed is also required.
