Behavior Support Specialist

About the Role:This full-time position will support students with behavioral challenges, providing individualized support and strategies to help them succeed in the classroom and beyond. As a Behavior Support Specialist, you will work closely with teachers, counselors, and other support staff to develop and implement behavior plans that cater to each student's unique needs.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You will be responsible for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting social skills and emotional regulation, and collaborating with teachers to integrate behavioral strategies into lesson plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience working with students with behavioral challenges, preferably in a school setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes social skills and emotional regulation
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
