Child Behavioral Support Specialist

Join a fulfilling career dedicated to assisting children with autism or behavioral health challenges in our dynamic Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) program at Barber National Institute.

As a Child Behavioral Support Specialist, you will deliver individualized interventions to children facing autism or other social-emotional-behavioral disorders. The hours are adaptable and tailored to the needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing support to the child in various settings including home, school, and community, while encouraging participation in suitable community activities.
- Executing the child's treatment plan and facilitating skill transfer to caregivers.
- Collaborating with families alongside other treatment team members.
- Working closely with the supervising Behavior Specialist to share insights on treatment responses and progress.
- Ensuring accurate documentation of personalized programs and data recording as outlined in the treatment plan.
- Submitting precise clinical documentation within designated time frames.

Qualifications:
- BCABA, RBT, or BCAT Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing ABA services
- High school diploma or equivalent, with experience working with children/adolescents
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance
- FBI clearance is necessary for individuals not meeting residency requirements
