Position Overview

Salary: $28.00 per hour

Role Summary: As an Autism Support Specialist, you will be trained to execute individualized behavioral intervention strategies for children in various settings, including our clinic, home, community, and educational environments. You will engage in a structured training program that covers the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, strategies for managing challenging behaviors, development of social skills, and effective data collection methods. Continuous training and supervision will be provided throughout your employment.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant human services field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Possession of reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently apply behavioral principles in all client interactions and maintain accurate data for treatment areas.
  • Implement Individualized Treatment Plans and instructional activities under the guidance of BCBAs and Program Supervisors.
  • Assist clients in developing academic and essential life skills, including self-care tasks.
  • Actively engage in staff training sessions, meetings, and community events.
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents, behavior analysts, and other team members.
  • Effectively manage crises, including instances of client aggression.
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of Wild Sun Behavioral Services, LLC.
