Position Overview

The Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in managing the processing and quality assurance of client accounts and transactions. This includes initiating cash transfers through the custodian bank and ensuring precise bookkeeping of client data. Regular tasks involve generating timely account statements, reconciling daily cash activities, and preparing various reports for clients, compliance, and senior management. This role demands exceptional attention to detail, the ability to handle multiple tasks, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute or oversee applications, transactions, and account maintenance with a target accuracy of 99%.
  • Initiate shareholder transactions, including Fed Wires and ACH, through the custodian bank.
  • Guarantee the accuracy of daily fund reporting while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Prepare and distribute daily and periodic statements to clients and representatives.
  • Conduct daily reconciliation of bank accounts.
  • Generate and share various reports with Transfer Agency Management, compliance, and senior management.
  • Maintain organized and precise bookkeeping in accordance with industry compliance standards.
  • Assist in database testing and disaster recovery initiatives.
  • Process portfolio transactions received from investment teams.
  • Provide training and serve as a backup for other operational tasks within the Transfer Agency and Advisory.
  • Support in diagnosing operational issues related to web users to ensure swift resolutions for clients.
  • Contribute to various company projects and audits.
