About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate EMT Ground Transport professional to join our team at St. Vincent Healthcare. As a EMT Ground Transport, you will play a critical role in providing safe and effective transportation of patients between hospital and receiving facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, and understand normal ranges and changes.
  • Work with EMT or Paramedic partners to provide safe transport of patients.
  • Establish and maintain effective radio communication with HELP Flight dispatch and other agencies.
  • Initiate department standing orders in appropriate patients and perform basic airway techniques, including oxygen therapy.
  • Participate in HELP Flight Safety committee and complete an initial assessment of the patient, documenting in the EMR.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of Basic EMT training program or Paramedic Training in the state of practice.
  • Current Montana and National Registry Emergency Medical Technician certification.
  • Able to load and unload ambulance stretcher with one person assist.
  • Valid and unrestricted United States Drivers License.
