Betacom is seeking a skilled Wireless Site Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our wireless site development team, you will be responsible for installing, replacing, and repairing antenna systems equipment on communication towers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Climb and work on communication towers to install, replace, and repair antenna systems equipment.
- Perform tower maintenance under close supervision.
- Ability to climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with a 50-pound load.
- Knowledge of basic tower rigging techniques.
- Proficient with installation of antennas, RRH's, ground kits, RET systems.
- Assist with testing procedures (sweeps, PIM, fiber testing, etc.)
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good reading and writing skills (English).
- Tower Tech IV - 4 years of progressive experience in the wireless site development industry.
- OSHA 10, RF Awareness Training and First Aid/CPR trained.
- Current ComTrain or equivalent certification in Tower Climbing Safety and Rescue Certification.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Working knowledge of basic hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro-mechanical equipment.
- Acceptable driving record and valid driver's license required.
