AWARE is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Residential Specialist. Our residential program for adults with developmental disabilities provides a safe and comfortable living environment, where individuals can live according to their own idea of independence.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in outing planning and transportation.
  • Monitor staff compliance with policies, procedures, and training expectations.
  • Assist in the investigation of accidents, injuries, or other incidents requiring employee interviews and statement preparation.
  • Training on treatment principles, including behavioral interventions, and assisting the Residential Coordinator as needed.

To be eligible, candidates must have at least three years of experience in Human Services or an associate degree in a related field, and possess computer literacy skills and interpersonal communication skills.
