Overview:The Automotive Hardware Engineer will be tasked with the planning, development, testing, and validation of automotive electrical and electronic components to fulfill client specifications effectively. The role also involves resolving any challenges encountered during the development and manufacturing phases to ensure the timely delivery of the targeted hardware.
Primary Responsibilities:- Assist in the design and development of electrical hardware circuitry
- Contribute to the formulation of hardware specifications and related documentation
- Support the preparation of cost assessments
- Create test cases and scenarios, and execute testing procedures
- Facilitate the ADVP&R process by crafting test plans and evaluating outcomes
- Troubleshoot issues during DV/PV testing and modify circuits as necessary
- Conduct functional testing to ensure compliance with specifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency with Cadence/Allegro Schematic Capture is highly preferred
- Familiarity with simulation tools such as Cadence SI, P-SPICE, etc.
- Comprehension of PCB Artwork
