Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

Soliant Healthcare is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations to assess students' speech and language capabilities, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Individualized Education Programs (IEPs): Develop and execute IEPs tailored to address specific communication needs, ensuring students receive targeted support.
  • Therapeutic Services: Deliver direct therapeutic services to students, both individually and in group settings, promoting effective communication and language skills.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other school personnel to ensure students' progress and success, maintaining open lines of communication and fostering a supportive environment.
  • Record Keeping and Progress Monitoring: Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, tracking progress and making necessary adjustments to therapy plans to ensure students meet their goals.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology, implementing best practices and evidence-based interventions to enhance student outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure and Certification: Current Arizona State License in Speech-Language Pathology and Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience: Experience in a school setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of educational settings and the ability to work effectively with students, educators, and parents.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
