Merchandise Associate Role

The Merchandise Associate will report directly to the supervisor on duty and collaborate closely with fellow sales associates and management to deliver exceptional customer service related to all merchandise events. A strong understanding of the venue and its services is essential to assist guests effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Customer Engagement - Foster a fun and professional atmosphere for teammates and fans.
  • Proactively greet and assist all customers.
  • Adhere to Legends standards and policies.
  • Sales Transactions - Accurately process sales and manage cash transactions efficiently using the Point of Sale terminal.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services available throughout the venue.
  • Assist your supervisor in ensuring that your designated area is organized, clean, and fully stocked for all events, preparing in advance.
  • Support with merchandise stocking as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Possess an energetic, self-motivated, warm, and friendly demeanor.
  • Must be a collaborative team player.
  • Demonstrate a willingness and drive to exceed guest expectations.
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Basic math skills are necessary; ability to accurately count change and balance cash.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment.
  • Must be able to bend, squat, and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 30 lbs consistently.
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a team during setup and completing tasks efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills with supervisors and guests are essential.
  • Flexibility to work during various events, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Adhere to safe work practices, follow all safety policies and procedures, and complete company-wide safety training as well as job-specific safety training.
