Job Description

Job Title: Merchandise Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Merchandise Associate to join our team at AEG. As a Merchandise Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide a fun and professional environment for teammates and fans, proactively greet guests, and assist all customers.
  • Product Knowledge: Ensure you are educated on the products and services sold throughout the stadium, including merchandise, concessions, and other amenities.
  • Sales: Accurately ring in sales and handle cash amounts in a timely manner on the Point of Sale terminal.
  • Store Maintenance: Assist with stocking of merchandise, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure that your assigned location is neat and fully stocked for all events.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other sales associates and management to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
  • Personality: Energetic, self-motivated, warm, and friendly personality.
  • Teamwork: Must be collaborative and a team player.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and guests.
  • Flexibility: Must be flexible to work all events, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Working Conditions:

The Merchandise Associate will work in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment, with the ability to bend, squat, and walk/stand for extended periods of time. The ability to transport up to 30 lbs on a continuous basis is also required.
