ROLE OF MERCHANDISE ASSOCIATE

The Merchandise Associate will work under the supervision of the on-duty manager, collaborating closely with fellow sales associates and management to deliver exceptional customer service during all merchandise events. A thorough understanding of the venue and its services is essential to assist all guests effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Customer Engagement - Foster a fun and professional atmosphere for teammates and fans.
  • Proactively welcome guests and assist all customers.
  • Adhere to Legends standards and policies.
  • Sales Operations - Accurately process sales transactions and manage cash handling efficiently at the Point of Sale terminal.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the products and services available throughout the venue.
  • Assist your supervisor in ensuring that your designated area is organized, clean, and fully stocked for all events.
  • Support with merchandise stocking as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Possess an energetic, self-motivated, warm, and friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate a willingness and drive to exceed guest expectations.
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Basic math skills; ability to accurately handle cash and balance cash registers.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Able to bend, squat, and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 30 lbs consistently.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team during setup and to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills with supervisors and guests.
  • Flexibility to work all events, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Commitment to practicing safe work habits and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
