Job Title: Assistant Facility Security Officer

Mission Essential Intelligence Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Facility Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for assisting the Facility Security Officer with the implementation and oversight of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming and outgoing employees, ensuring all necessary security clearances and background checks are completed.
  • Conduct security training sessions for staff and maintain accurate training records.
  • Maintain personnel security files, including processing SEAD 3 and other reporting requirements.
  • Process incoming and outgoing VARs and foreign travel requests, ensuring all necessary security protocols are followed.
  • Assist the Facility Security Officer with incident reports and manage facility badges for employees and visitors.
  • Conduct monthly inspections to ensure compliance with security regulations and procedures.
  • Ensure the proper handling and storage of classified materials and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Assist with security assessments and develop procedures to improve security protocols.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years' experience in personnel security, with a strong understanding of NISP and security regulations.
  • Excellent written, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
Security Clearance:

Requires an Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
