Tuknik Government Services is currently seeking a Lead Program Security Analyst for the Department of Defense Office of the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer (CDAO). We are in search of a seasoned professional focused on identifying and safeguarding Critical Program Information (CPI) and developing Program Protection Plans along with risk mitigation strategies to ensure that capabilities in development and deployment remain uncompromised against adversarial efforts to reverse engineer, exploit, or counteract. This role necessitates a creative application of program protection principles to rapidly evolving technologies in artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a senior advisor to the Chief of Special Projects for the CDAO on intelligence matters that inform CDAO strategies and activities, including counterintelligence and security functions to protect CDAO information, technology, and assets.
  • Support the drafting and coordination of CDAO policies and guidance regarding AI, data, and technology protection principles.
  • Assist in defining, developing, and implementing Systems Security Engineering (SSE) requirements, including evaluating security provisions in technical reviews, specifications, engineering plans, designs, and other related documents.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of Program Protection Plans (PPPs) and associated Critical Program Information (CPI) for CDAO Programs and Projects.
  • Support the Program Protection Team Lead in authoring and maintaining Security Classification Guides (SCG) in line with DoD policies, providing clear guidance on derivative classification.
  • Coordinate and integrate execution of directorate requirements and develop key operations and enterprise functions, including security reviews for materials intended for public dissemination.
  • Manage day-to-day directorate support functions and mission requirements.
  • Devise and implement innovative strategies for securing sensitive technologies and capabilities.
  • Conduct security inspections, identify discrepancies, and prepare reports.
Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience within the DoD or Intelligence Community, ideally related to management and execution of security functions or intelligence missions.
  • Experience in implementing various active/passive program security and counterintelligence measures.
  • Strong research and data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex information in operational environments.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
  • Experience in delivering high-level briefings to senior staff and executives.
  • Familiarity with authoring or editing DoD directives and Program Protection Plans.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of intelligence, counterintelligence, and security policies and procedures.
Desired Skills:
  • Understanding of threats posed by principal adversaries in relation to Great Power Competition in AI and Data Analytics.
  • Ability to quickly grasp and apply new concepts.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with excellent multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
Security Requirement:
  • Must possess a CURRENT/ACTIVE TS/SCI-level security clearance.
Working Environment:
