Role Summary
The Human Resources Recruitment Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing and executing recruitment strategies across the district. This position is integral to ensuring that the college attracts and retains a diverse workforce, aligning with the institution's mission of equity and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
As a Human Resources Recruitment Coordinator, your duties will include:
- Facilitating the recruitment process by collaborating with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop effective job postings.
- Coordinating and participating in interview panels, ensuring a fair and equitable selection process.
- Providing comprehensive information about employment opportunities to prospective candidates, enhancing their understanding of the college's mission and values.
- Implementing targeted recruitment initiatives to attract a diverse pool of applicants, focusing on underrepresented groups.
- Managing candidate assessments and providing recommendations based on qualifications and suitability for roles within the district.
- Conducting orientation sessions for new hires, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
- Maintaining accurate records of recruitment activities and applicant data to support compliance with equal employment opportunity regulations.
- Participating in outreach efforts, including job fairs and community events, to promote employment opportunities within the district.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Significant experience in recruitment and human resources functions, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly those related to equal employment opportunity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
