Key Responsibilities
As a Human Resources Recruitment Coordinator, your duties will include:

  1. Facilitating the recruitment process by collaborating with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop effective job postings.
  2. Coordinating and participating in interview panels, ensuring a fair and equitable selection process.
  3. Providing comprehensive information about employment opportunities to prospective candidates, enhancing their understanding of the college's mission and values.
  4. Implementing targeted recruitment initiatives to attract a diverse pool of applicants, focusing on underrepresented groups.
  5. Managing candidate assessments and providing recommendations based on qualifications and suitability for roles within the district.
  6. Conducting orientation sessions for new hires, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  7. Maintaining accurate records of recruitment activities and applicant data to support compliance with equal employment opportunity regulations.
  8. Participating in outreach efforts, including job fairs and community events, to promote employment opportunities within the district.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in recruitment and human resources functions, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly those related to equal employment opportunity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.

Working Conditions
