About the Role
Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled medical professional to join their team in Cambridge, Massachusetts. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing competent nursing care to donors presenting to the Blood Donor Services.

Key Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing nursing care to donors, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Collecting blood and blood components while adhering to strict quality control and regulatory standards.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date donor records, including documentation of sample collection, audits, and final corrections.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participating in staff scheduling, training, and quality assurance activities.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
  • A current Massachusetts licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Associate's degree in Nursing with relevant experience.
  • At least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a blood donation setting.
  • Current CPR certification and CPR Instructor certification (optional).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
