Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States One Medical Full time
About One Medical

One Medical is a primary care solution challenging the industry status quo by making quality care more affordable, accessible and enjoyable. Our mission is to transform healthcare, improving the experience for everyone involved - from patients and providers to employers and health networks.

We offer seamless in-office and 24/7 virtual care services, on-site labs, and programs for preventive care, chronic care management, common illnesses and mental health concerns. As we continue to grow and seek to impact more lives, we're building a diverse, driven and empathetic team, while working hard to cultivate an environment where everyone can thrive.

The Opportunity

This role provides an exceptional experience for our patients and helps them accomplish an important part of their care journey. You'll be an ambassador for patients in office, with a mastery of human connection and a strong drive for service. You will remove barriers to care, resulting in a truly exceptional in-office patient experience. This includes support for the office with a focus on active daily management, scheduling, inventory, and facilities support.

You are a strong team player and use your innovative problem-solving skills to tackle various tasks and challenges. Excellent specimen collection technique combined with tactful interpersonal skills during every interaction with patients is required. Strong verbal and written communication is necessary to identify opportunities and deliver customer-centric solutions.

This role involves providing best-in-class venipuncture services, performing extended scope duties such as non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs. You will maintain high standards of in-office care through proper specimen labeling, handling and processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilization.

Responsibilities include dispensary responsibilities like verifying counts, maintaining inventory, placing orders, receiving and stocking, filling, packaging and labeling prescriptions for patient pick-up. Continuing to care for members beyond the lab room by answering patient messages, following up on lab cases and assisting providers and virtual medical teams with clerical duties is also required.
