About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

This is a full-time opportunity with a mix of days and hybrid schedule. The successful candidate will work closely with attending physicians, mid-level practitioners, administrative support staff, and other members of the patient care team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage phone calls from patients, families, providers, etc.; respond to clinical-related communications as directed.
  • Contact patients to update medication reconciliation lists; manage prescription refills and handle insurance prior authorization for medications.
  • Conduct insurance prior authorization for diagnostic testing and procedures.
  • Track, collect, and review outpatient test results; review abnormal results with supervising physician/mid-level practitioner, and inform patients of test results and clinical impact/plans.
  • Complete various medical and administrative forms, e.g., disability, VNA documentation.
  • Assist with clinical instruction for patients, e.g., medication teaching.
  • Support administrative operations by acting as a clinical liaison to administrative support staff.
  • Maintain and follow patient care protocols.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred;
  • Registered Nurse licensure in Massachusetts required;
  • Current BLS certification necessary;
  • Relevant professional experience in cardiology preferred;
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish speaking), strongly preferred;

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $$87,000 - $120,000 per year, based on relevant experience and qualifications.
