Technical Sales Representative

At Employee Owned Holdings, Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and technical individual to join our team as a Technical Inside Sales Representative. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, promoting and selling our products and value-added solutions, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage communication with customers via phone and email to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
- Promote and sell products and value-added solutions to new customers through incoming calls, inquiries via email, and other sales channels.
- Develop a high level of knowledge about our products and vendors to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Communicate with internal and vendor contacts to understand and respond to delivery needs, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
- Manage large customers' questions, orders, and deliveries in partnership with outside sales representatives to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling current customers to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Support and participate in our organization's continual improvement program to maintain ISO 9001 certification.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Distribution, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Certified Fluid Power Hydraulic Specialist preferred.
- Other technical certifications or degrees may be considered.
- Up to two years of experience in sales, customer service, or technical fields (internship experience a plus).
- Previous hands-on mechanical experience strongly preferred.
