Job Summary:
Discover is seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing the risk management framework, controls, and governance that support the achievement of business outcomes for Discover Card, Discover Bank, Discover Student Loans, Discover Personal Loans, and Discover Home Loans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify and evaluate controls and governance processes.
- Develop and implement audit plans to ensure effective risk management and compliance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and address audit findings and recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and risk management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology, Analytics, or related field.
- Relevant experience in Applied Sciences, Engineering, Operations, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, Computer Science, Data Science, or related experience.
- Preferred qualifications include 1+ years of experience within public accounting, financial services, or consulting, and certifications such as Six Sigma, STEM, or Business, Risk, or Audit related certifications.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary range of $65,000.00 to $109,000.00 per year, plus additional incentives.
