FinOps Program Manager

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- This role is critical in ensuring customer satisfaction, project delivery, and driving the adoption of client's FinOps capabilities
- Assist in creating and track FinOps metrics and KPIs
- Communicate timely project status to all stakeholders
- Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure
- FinOps Implementation: Lead complex FinOps projects, working closely with customers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, acting as their trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure project success
- Data Analysis: Leverage data and analytics to optimize project performance and identify improvement areas
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and refinement of FinOps methodologies and best practices.
- Skills-Project/Program Management, Financial Operations (Finops), cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of financial modeling and cost optimization techniques.
- Understanding of data analytics and visualization tools.
- Deep knowledge of cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) leaning heavily towards AWS and financial management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address project challenges and drive solutions.
- Proven track record in managing complex IT projects, preferably within the FinOps or cloud computing domain using Jira.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
- Ability to stay organized and maintain documentation related to cloud infrastructure and financial operations.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and application teams.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to manage project risk, develop mitigation plans, and escalate decisions and unresolved issues.
- Project or Program Management Certifications.
- FinOps Foundation Certification.
- Cloud Provider Certifications.
- Prior experience in a FinOps specific role.
- Note- Looking for Senior Candidates who does not require visa sponsorship. W2 Candidates preferred.
