Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Set up appointments with prospective clients to learn their needs and concerns, develop relationships, and create awareness of company offerings.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop an understanding of the customer base, market, and individual customer needs while building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Market Analysis: Maintain and develop relationships with composite cable dealers and wholesalers, including:
    • Create a plan of regular touch points in line with customer buying habits and needs to maintain current customer base.
    • Understand the marketplace to recommend pricing at both the dealer and wholesale level to support growth and consistency in customer base.
    • Prospect new customers and develop a compelling strategy to win new business.
  • Sales Growth: Create a proactive plan for regular touch points for new customers to generate sales growth.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as defined by Management each year.
  • Quote Management: Create and present quotations to customers emphasizing value-add features and explaining the benefits of working with CableMaster.
  • Data Management: Manage and perform data entry into ERP system for orders in line with company policies.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with purchasing and accounting teams to relay the voice of the customer as it relates to needs in the marketplace to support inventory purchases and management.
  • Product Knowledge: Possess thorough knowledge of all products, processes, and policies to support and exceed customer requirements.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned.
