Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement manufacturing methods and processes to improve productivity and quality.
- Collaborate with production and design staff to ensure efficient production methods and product design.
- Work with vendors to determine product specifications and quality standards.
- Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
- Utilize quality tools to improve the overall product and assist with the design layout of equipment and workforce for maximum efficiency.
- 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial/Operations Management, or other general engineering/industrial degree with technical problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with quality tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Statistical Process Control, etc. preferred.
- Experience working in an industrial setting preferred.
