Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled In Process Inspector I - Box Build to join our team at Sechan Electronics. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for inspecting company products at various stages of manufacture, ensuring compliance to industry standards, military specifications, and customer drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect products manufactured at Sechan for compliance to industry standards, military specifications, and customer drawings.
  • Review and read technical documents to understand quality requirements of manufactured products.
  • Utilize microscopes, test equipment, and standard measuring equipment to perform inspections.
  • Verify all required documentation and work with Quality Engineers in the disposition of non-conforming material.
  • Complete documentation of defects through data entry into company software platforms.
  • Assist in keeping the inspection department compliant with all ISO/AS9102 requirements.
  • Work with customers and fellow employees in a professional and respectful manner.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain IPC Certification (IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, J-STD-001, etc.).
  • Department of Defense experience a plus but not required.
  • Ability to pass vision acuity exam per J-STD-001 and NASA STD's.
  • Experience with Military and International Quality System rules, regulations, standards, including planning and implementation a plus.

Work Environment:

  • Manufacturing Environment.
  • Hours 6:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. every other Friday, with additional hours as needed.
