Process Engineer Intern

The Manufacturing and Engineering Professional will gain hands-on experience in internal operations at MOTREX Co. Ltd through exposure to manufacturing, engineering, processing, and other areas of the company.

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week learning opportunity at our facility. Interns are responsible for their transportation to the plant.

For those living more than 50 miles away, there may be an option for housing provided by a local university.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support Injection Molding Process control and capability using scientific molding principles.
  • Support process improvement, cost reduction, and correction actions teams.
  • Provide technical support for daily processing activities.
  • Assist in the set-up, repair, and troubleshooting of injection molding equipment.
  • Follow all Environmental, Health & Safety regulations as they apply to the facility & work area.

Requirements include:

  • Graduating between DEC 2025 and May 2027 with relevant coursework in Engineering/ Plastics Processing/ Manufacturing or related field.
  • Working towards BS in Engineering.
  • Possibility of housing provided by local university.
  • Prior plastics injection molding experience preferred.
  • Familiar with all aspects of scientific injection molding process.
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and database software.

Minimal if any travel.
