Job Overview

The Coca-Cola Consolidated team is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Mechanic II to join our production facility. This is a full-time position working on the 3rd shift (10pm-6:30am) Sunday-Thursday, with the possibility of overtime work, including weekends.

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Mechanic II is responsible for maintaining and repairing all production equipment in a timely and efficient manner. This includes performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and making design improvements to increase production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
  • Locate and troubleshoot sources of problems using precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Monitor and maintain multiple pieces of equipment, completing assigned PMs and performing corrective maintenance work orders.
  • Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including making mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic adjustments.
Requirements
  • 2 years of education beyond high school in college or technical school.
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience in plant maintenance and high-speed production equipment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) required.
  • Preferred qualifications include certification of technical schooling in plant maintenance and high-speed production equipment.
Work Environment

This position requires working in a noisy, wet, and extreme temperature environment.
