Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanic Manufacturing II to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining all assets in the production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex process issues and make mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with production workers to minimize downtime and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, including checking stock levels and ordering supplies as necessary.
- Develop and implement design improvements and process changes to enhance overall production efficiency.
Requirements:
- 2 years of education beyond high school in college or technical school.
- 3 to 5 years of work experience in plant maintenance and high-speed production equipment.
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) required.
Work Environment: This position requires working in a noisy, wet, and extreme temperature environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals.
