About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dining Server to join our team at Spring Hills Senior Communities. As a Dining Server, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our residents, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Takes Orders and Serves Food and Drinks: Take orders from residents in a timely and efficient manner, serving food and drinks with a smile.
  • Maintains Kitchen Cleanliness: Ensure the kitchen area is clean and sanitized, washing dishes, pots, and pans, and mopping and sweeping the floor.
  • Provides Excellent Service: Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service to every resident, clearing dining tables and anticipating refill needs.
  • Assists Fellow Staff Members: Assist cooks and food servers with clean cooking utensils and service ware, and provide excellent service according to service standards.
  • Reports Issues: Inform the Lead Dining Captain or Chef of any problems that arise with a guest.
Requirements
  • Manual Dexterity: The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
  • Arm-Hand Steadiness: The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.
  • Trunk Strength: The ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without 'giving out' or fatiguing.
  • Finger Dexterity: The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.
