About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Inspector to join our team at Carvana. As a Vehicle Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and condition of our vehicles, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect Vehicles: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any signs of wear, tear, neglect, damage, previous repair, or structural damage.
  • Communicate with Customers: Interact with dealers and consumers in a professional manner, providing clear and concise information about the vehicle's condition.
  • Resolve Customer Inquiries: Respond to customer inquiries in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner, advising management of any complaints or incidents.
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that internal and external customers receive prompt, efficient, and courteous attention.
  • Maintain Equipment and Tools: Properly maintain equipment and tools, advising the manager of any equipment maintenance or breakdowns.
  • Submit Condition Reports: Submit completed condition reports using the appropriate technology, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Keep current on technology updates, new releases, and product development, understanding the functionality and ability to use tools such as paint meters, OBD scanners, etc.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and be qualified to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Effective Communication: Demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Physical Ability: Have the ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
