Correctional Officer

As a Correctional Officer with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of our facilities, our communities, and our country.
Key Responsibilities- Enforce rules and regulations governing facility security, ensuring the well-being of adults in custody and promoting good public relations.
- Provide supervision, care, and correctional treatment to adults in custody, fostering a positive and rehabilitative environment.
- Drive maintenance of institution security, contributing to the health and welfare of adults in custody and promoting a safe and secure environment.
- Ensure adults in custody accountability and conduct, upholding judicial sanctions and maintaining order within the facility.
- Ability to objectively evaluate situations and make sound judgments, using own initiative in the resolution of problem situations.
