Job Overview:
In this role, you will operate under minimal supervision, leveraging your expertise and skills gained through experience and training to oversee team members within designated areas of Private Client Group Services (PCGS). You will lead specific projects or initiatives of moderate complexity and scope, addressing escalated issues and challenges related to the transition process. This position may require extensive interaction with both internal and external clients to identify, investigate, analyze, and resolve various concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conducts human resource management functions, including recognizing performance issues and endorsing corrective actions; assessing performance; interviewing and selecting candidates.
• Guides and mentors team members, identifies training requirements, and approves development strategies.
• Interprets, applies, documents, and recommends modifications to organizational policies and procedures.
• Engages with financial advisors and branch managers to proactively assess needs.
• Sets objectives and formulates processes and procedures to ensure efficient and timely workflow.
• Solicits feedback on team performance, addresses opportunities for improvement with staff, and follows up with branches as necessary; identifies trends and implements corrective measures as required.
• Conducts periodic reporting on work progress, project completions, and additional ad-hoc reporting as needed.
• Ensures effective coordination between the assigned functional area and other departments.
• Balances competing resource and priority demands.
• Utilizes financial data and performance metrics to establish control mechanisms and other improvement initiatives, ensuring quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.
• May prepare and present operational budgets for the assigned functional area.
• Acts as a liaison between the PCGS Department, other departments, and external vendors.
• Provides departmental updates on changes in products and/or services.
• Documents and maintains records of financial advisor issues, including the problem, resolution, and related communications.
• Organizes branch visits to both local and regional offices.
• May review and approve applications for branch cashiering.
• May participate in Home Office Visits.
• May oversee technology coordination for all new RJA offices.
• Remains consistently aware of firm and industry current events and best practices.
• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
