About the DepartmentThe Department of Health and Wellness Design is a vibrant and dynamic community of scholars and practitioners dedicated to advancing the field of health and wellness design. Our faculty and staff are passionate about creating a healthier and more sustainable world through innovative research, teaching, and community engagement.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a talented individual to join our faculty as a tenured or tenure-track professor in health and wellness design. The successful candidate will have a strong research agenda, a commitment to teaching and mentoring, and a passion for contributing to the growth and development of our department.
Responsibilities- Conduct innovative research in health and wellness design, with a focus on one or more of the following areas: lifestyle health behavior, aging and disability, health equity, informatics and technology, brain health and mental health, patient experience, and nonpharmacologic therapies and models of care.
- Teach and mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with a focus on developing and implementing innovative curricula and programs in health and wellness design.
- Contribute to the growth and development of our department through service and leadership, including participating in departmental and university-wide committees, collaborating with colleagues on research and teaching initiatives, and engaging with external partners and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree or professional doctorate in a relevant field, with a strong research agenda and a commitment to teaching and mentoring. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about contributing to the growth and development of our department and who are committed to fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in health and wellness design.
