Position Information:This is a full-time, benefits-eligible faculty position where academic rank and compensation will be determined by qualifications and experience. As a faculty member, you'll provide patient care consistent with the core teachings of NWHSU, create documentation that is complete, accurate, and current, and involve student interns with all patient evaluation, case management, communication, and treatment.
Responsibilities:- Provide patient care consistent with the core teachings of NWHSU.
- Create documentation that is complete, accurate, and current in compliance with clinic policy.
- Involve student interns with all patient evaluation, case management, communication, and treatment.
- Direct all patient care with the expectation that adjustments are either administered or observed by the faculty member.
- Provide and teach material consistent with the core teachings of Northwestern Health Sciences University as well as current best practices in the evidence-informed chiropractic profession.
- Evaluate and provide objective feedback to assigned student interns.
- Participate in the mentoring and education of interns as set-forth by the College of Chiropractic.
- Participate in the orientation of new student interns assigned to De Rusha Clinic.
- Provide solo care to campus community when not working with student interns.
- Participate in university committees, guest lecturing, case studies, administrative tasks, and external school endorsement liaisons as needed.
- Active D.C. license in the state of MN in good standing, required.
- 3+ years of experience.
- Further training in Pediatric/Pregnancy population, preferred.
- Diversified adjusting technique is required, additional techniques are welcome.
