JOB SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility is to support operations, marketing, engineering, and executive management teams. Key duties include identifying opportunities for performance enhancement, developing effective solutions, and collaborating with all stakeholders to implement these solutions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide support to the Operations Team.
  • Propel the execution of Operations Engineering initiatives with district and/or operator(s).
  • Recommend improvements for drilling processes (new equipment, altering rig layouts, modifying existing equipment) and assist management in ensuring quality, consistency, and timeliness across all district lines.
  • Assist operations and operator(s) with special projects as necessary.
  • Document processes and trials of new technologies in field operations.
  • Collaborate with functional departments and/or specified operator(s) on process/equipment enhancements. Report on the success or failure of such improvements.
  • Act as a liaison between operations and various functional departments within the organization.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for technology, process improvement, strategic planning, or potential organizational changes to add business value.
  • Make recommendations for drilling process enhancements (new equipment, altering rig layouts, modifying existing equipment) and assist management in ensuring quality, consistency, and timeliness.
  • Interact with functional departments and/or specified operator(s) for engineering support in coordination with management and the Engineering and Technical department as needed.
  • Adhere to company policies and work requirements.
  • Value safety and comply with Nabors' standards.
  • Assist with additional duties and projects as required.
Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering - petroleum, mechanical, or a related field.
  • Understanding of the oil and gas industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple/conflicting priorities with a proven track record of delivery.
  • Capable of working under and meeting project deadlines.
  • Good business judgment in handling potentially sensitive information.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all organizational levels in a professional manner.
  • Self-motivated and energetic.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint (capable of creating executive-level presentations).
  • General knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ANSI, API, ASME, etc.) and the ability to research codes and standards as needed.
  • Must be able to travel and perform rig visits.
