Since our establishment, we have formed strategic partnerships to mobilize resources aimed at preventing the displacement of low-income families and enhancing the availability of affordable housing throughout the Bay Area.
With a robust portfolio of over 50 loans facilitating the creation of more than 2,600 housing units, HAF collaborates with community organizations and developers to bridge financing gaps and generate impactful outcomes. Our offerings include a variety of loan products such as construction loans, permanent loans, and unsecured predevelopment loans, tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in a pivotal role focused on the administration of construction and permanent loans. This individual will be responsible for reviewing and processing loan draws for affordable housing projects, monitoring borrower compliance with insurance and tax obligations, and ensuring accurate documentation and approvals throughout the loan lifecycle. Exceptional client service is paramount, and this role requires a balance of numerical proficiency and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loan Draw Processing (60%): Manage the receipt and review of construction loan draws, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Loan Closures & Payoffs (20%): Oversee the closing process for loans, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
- File Management & Borrower Communication (20%): Maintain organized loan files and ensure timely communication with borrowers regarding their obligations and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, business administration, or related fields.
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with the affordable housing sector, particularly in California.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
